Valentine Ball1

     Valentine Ball was born on 14 July 1843.1 He was the son of Robert Ball and Amelia Gresley Hellicar.1 He married Mary Stewart-Moore, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Stewart-Moore, on 18 September 1879.1 He died on 15 June 1895 at age 51.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Honorary Doctor of Law (LL.D.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was Director at Science and Art Museum, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He was a geologist.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)1 He was registered as a Member, Royal Irish Academy (M.R.I.A.)1

Mary Stewart-Moore1

     Mary Stewart-Moore was the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Stewart-Moore.1 She married Valentine Ball, son of Robert Ball and Amelia Gresley Hellicar, on 18 September 1879.1 She died on 19 February 1936.1
     From 18 September 1879, her married name became Ball.1

     Annie Julia Kinahan was the daughter of Daniel Kinahan and Harriet Hone.1,2 She married Sir Charles Bent Ball, 1st Bt., son of Robert Ball and Amelia Gresley Hellicar, on 23 July 1874.1 She died on 24 September 1940.1
     From 23 July 1874, her married name became Ball.1

Daniel Kinahan1
