     Barbara Stanley is the daughter of Sir Edward Stanley, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Bosvile.¹ She married Reverend Zachary Taylor.¹
     Her married name became Taylor.¹

     F. J. Smith married Elizabeth Grove Annesley, daughter of John Charles Grove Annesley and Belinda Murphy, on 25 March 1903.¹

     Peter Stanley was the son of Sir Thomas Stanley, 2nd Bt. and Mary Egerton.¹ He married Catherine Rigby, daughter of Colonel Alexander Rigby, on 19 April 1683.¹ He died circa January 1686.¹ He was buried on 27 January 1686.¹

     Catherine Rigby is the daughter of Colonel Alexander Rigby.¹ She married, firstly, Peter Stanley, son of Sir Thomas Stanley, 2nd Bt. and Mary Egerton, on 19 April 1683.¹ She married, secondly, Paul Amyas after 1686.¹
     Her married name became Stanley. From after 1686, her married name became Amyas.¹

     Mary Stanley was the daughter of Sir Thomas Stanley, 2nd Bt. and Mary Egerton.¹ She married John Bradshaw.¹
     Her married name became Bradshaw.¹

     Captain William Geoffrey Grove Annesley was born on 12 February 1826.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Hon. Arthur Grove Annesley and Elizabeth Mahon.¹ He married Eliza Taylor, daughter of J. Taylor, on 8 March 1866.¹ He died on 6 April 1873 at age 47, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 6th Foot.¹

     Henry Stanley was baptised on 3 September 1617.¹ He was the son of Sir Edward Stanley, 1st Bt. and Isabel Warburton.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Cropper, daughter of Hamlet Cropper.¹ He married, firstly, Eleanor Dutton.¹ He died on 18 October 1658 at age 41 at Ormskirk, Lancashire, England.²

     Eliza Taylor was the daughter of J. Taylor.¹ She married Captain William Geoffrey Grove Annesley, son of Lt.-Gen. Hon. Arthur Grove Annesley and Elizabeth Mahon, on 8 March 1866.¹
     From 8 March 1866, her married name became Grove Annesley.¹

     Mary Cropper is the daughter of Hamlet Cropper.¹ She married Henry Stanley, son of Sir Edward Stanley, 1st Bt. and Isabel Warburton.¹
     Her married name became Stanley.¹

     Edward Stanley was born circa 1651.¹ He was the son of Henry Stanley and Mary Cropper.¹ He died circa December 1754.¹ He was buried on 4 January 1755.¹
     He lived at Preston, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He had six other sons.¹
