     Lord William James Cavendish-Bentinck was born on 6 July 1925.1 He was the son of Victor Frederick William Cavendish-Bentinck, 9th Duke of Portland and Clothilde Bruce Quigley.1 He married, firstly, Patricia Constance Margaretta Collins circa August 1949.1 He and Patricia Constance Margaretta Collins were divorced in 1954.1 He married, secondly, Inger Maria Sandra Grantzau-Christensen, daughter of J. P. Grantzau-Christensen, on 14 December 1954.1 He and Inger Maria Sandra Grantzau-Christensen were divorced in 1960.1 He married, thirdly, Eleanor Barbara Muriel Lygon, daughter of Lt.-Col. Reginald Arthur Lygon and Agnes Mary Louise Bell, on 20 December 1960.1 He and Eleanor Barbara Muriel Lygon were divorced in 1965.1 He died on 4 September 1966 at age 41, without issue.1

     Eleanor Barbara Muriel Lygon usually went by her middle name of Barbara.1 Her married name became Cavendish-Bentinck. From 1966, her married name became Langrishe.4 From 1983, her married name became Curran.4

     Jean Colquhoun was the daughter of Sir Alexander Colquhoun of Luss and Helen Buchanan.3,4 She married, firstly, Alan Cathcart, 5th Lord Cathcart, son of Alan Cathcart, Master of Cathcart and Isabel Kennedy, on 29 October 1626.5 She married, secondly, Sir Duncan Campbell of Auchinbreck, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Dugald Campbell of Auchinbreck, 1st Bt. and Mary Erskine, before 1645.1 She married, thirdly, Hon. Sir William Hamilton, 1st and last Bt., son of James Hamilton, 1st Earl of Abercorn and Marion Boyd, between 1645 and 1 April 1656.1,6
     From 29 October 1626, her married name became Cathcart. After her marriage, Jean Colquhoun was styled as Countess Dowager Cathcart.1 From before 1645, her married name became Campbell.1 From between 1645 and 1 April 1656, her married name became Hamilton.1

     Sir Alexander Colquhoun of Luss was the son of Sir John Colquhoun of Luss and Agnes Boyd.2 He married Helen Buchanan, daughter of Sir George Buchanan of that Ilk.2 He died on 23 May 1617.2
     In 1603 he continued the feud with the MacGregors, reaching a climax in an encounter at Glenfruin.2 He lived at Luss, Argyllshire, ScotlandG.

     Christina Anne Jessica Cavendish-Bentinck was the daughter of Rt. Hon. George Augustus Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck and Prudentia Penelope Leslie.1 She married Sir Tatton Sykes, 5th Bt., son of Sir Tatton Sykes, 4th Bt. and Mary Anne Foulis, on 3 August 1874.2 She died on 2 June 1912.1
     She was a novelist.2 Her married name became Sykes. She was an alcoholic (so thirsty she even drank her own scent) and forger (convicted of issuing cheques in her husband's name.)2
