     Lady Amelia Egerton was born in 1751.1 She was the daughter of Rt. Rev. John Egerton and Lady Anne Sophia Grey.1 She married Sir Abraham Hume, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Abraham Hume, 1st Bt. and Hannah Frederick, in 1771.1 She died in 1809.1
     From 1771, her married name became Hume.1

     Rt. Rev. John Egerton was born on 30 November 1721.1,2 He was the son of Rev. Hon. Henry Egerton and Lady Elizabeth Adriana Bentinck.1 He married, firstly, Lady Anne Sophia Grey, daughter of Henry Grey, 1st and last Duke of Kent and Lady Sophia Bentinck, on 21 November 1748.1,2 He married, secondly, Mary Boughton, daughter of Shuckburgh Boughton and Mary Greville, on 31 March 1782.3 He died on 18 June 1787 at age 65.1,2
     He held the office of Bishop of Bangor in 1756.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)4 He held the office of Bishop of Lichfield and Coventry in 1768.1 He held the office of Bishop of Durham in 1771.1
