     Sir Ian Fife Campbell Anstruther of that Ilk, 8th/13th Bt. was born on 11 May 1922.1 He was the son of Douglas Tollemache Anstruther and Enid Campbell.2 He married, firstly, Geraldine Honor Blake, daughter of Captain Gerald Stuart Blake, on 7 March 1951.1 He and Geraldine Honor Blake were divorced in 1963.1 He married, secondly, Susan Margaret Walker Paten, daughter of Henry St. John Brading Paten, on 15 November 1963.1 He died on 29 July 2007 at age 85.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Corps of Signals.1 He held the office of Attaché at Washington.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.1 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Anstruther, of Anstruther and of Elie House, co.
