     Margaret Hamilton was the daughter of Sir John Hamilton and Johanna Everard.1 She married Sir Archibald Acheson, 1st Bt., son of Captain Patrick Acheson and Martha Drummond, circa 1622.2 A contract for the marriage of Margaret Hamilton and Sir Archibald Acheson, 1st Bt. was signed on 20 July 1619 at Clonekearney, County Armagh, IrelandG.3 She died after August 1629.1
     From circa 1622, her married name became Acheson.1

     Martha Moore was the daughter of William Moore.1 She married Sir Patrick Acheson, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Archibald Acheson, 1st Bt. and Agnes Vernor, in 1634.1 She died circa February 1674/75 at St. Margaret's Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 She was buried on 21 February 1674/75 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church, Covent Garden, London, EnglandG.1 She died intestate and her estate was administered to George More, cousin and next of kin on 6 March 1694/95.1
     From 1634, her married name became Acheson.1

     Sir George Acheson, 3rd Bt. was baptised on 4 August 1629 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He was the son of Sir Archibald Acheson, 1st Bt. and Margaret Hamilton.1 He married, firstly, Nichola Hannay, daughter of Sir Robert Hannay of Mochrum, 1st Bt. and Jane Stewart, on 23 January 1654 at Derry Cathedral, Templemore, County Londonderry, IrelandG.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Caulfeild, daughter of William Caulfeild, 2nd Lord Caulfeild, Baron of Charlemont and Mary King, on 3 November 1659 at Markethill, County Armagh, IrelandG.2 He died between March 1684 and November 1685 at Markethill, Mullaghbrack, County Armagh, IrelandG.2,3 His will was proven (by probate) on 17 November 1685.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Acheson, of Market Hill [in Clonekearney], co. Armagh [N.S., 1628] on 6 October 1638.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Tyrone in 1657.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Armagh in 1657.1 His last will was dated 10 March 1684.
