Thomas Beaumont, 1st Viscount Beaumont of Swords was the son of Sir Henry Beaumont and Elizabeth Lovis.1 He married Elizabeth Sapcote, daughter of Henry Sapcote and Eleanor Sapcote, before 1614.1 He died before 22 May 1625.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 31 May 1625.1
He was appointed Knight on 23 April 1603 at Belvoir Castle, Belvior, Leicestershire, EnglandG.1,2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicestershire between 1604 and 1611.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Leicestershire from 1610 to 1611.1 He was created 1st Baronet Beaumont, of Cole Orton, co. Leicester [England] on 17 September 1619.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicestershire between 1621 and 7 February 1622.2 He was created 1st Viscount Beaumont of Swords, co. Dublin [Ireland] on 20 May 1622.1 His last will was dated February 1624.

Elizabeth Sapcote was born circa 1580.1 She was the daughter of Henry Sapcote and Eleanor Sapcote.1 She married Thomas Beaumont, 1st Viscount Beaumont of Swords, son of Sir Henry Beaumont and Elizabeth Lovis, before 1614.1 She died after May 1625.1

Sapcote Beaumont, 2nd Viscount Beaumont of Swords was born on 10 May 1614.1 He was the son of Thomas Beaumont, 1st Viscount Beaumont of Swords and Elizabeth Sapcote.1 He married, firstly, Bridget Monson, daughter of Sir Thomas Monson, 1st Bt. and Margaret Anderson, on 28 May 1632 at Burton, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Ann Villiers, daughter of Sir William Villiers, 1st Bt. and Rebecca Roper, before 1643.1 He died in 1658.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Beaumont, of Cole Orton, co. Leicester [E., 1619] before 22 May 1625.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Beaumont of Swords, co. Dublin [I., 1622] before 22 May 1625.1 He suffered in the Royal cause, with his house being burnt by the rebels.1
