George Henry Charles Byng, 3rd Earl of Strafford was born on 22 February 1830.1 He was the son of George Stevens Byng, 2nd Earl of Strafford and Lady Agnes Paget.1 He married Lady Alice Harriet Frederica Egerton, daughter of Francis Egerton, 1st Earl of Ellesmere and Harriet Catherine Greville, on 25 July 1854.1 He died on 28 March 1898 at age 68, without issue.1
