     William Henry Granville, 3rd Earl of Bath was born on 30 January 1691/92.¹ He was the son of Charles Granville, 2nd Earl of Bath and Isabella de Nassau.¹ He died on 17 May 1711 at age 19 at Lady Auverquerque's lodgings, Whitehall, London, England^G, from smallpox, unmarried.¹ He was buried on 24 May 1711 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ His will (dated 3 April 1710) was proven (by probate) on 24 May 1711.¹

     From circa 15 March 1674/75, her married name became Carteret.¹ She was created 1st Countess Granville [Great Britain] on 1 January 1714/15, suo jure.¹ She was created 1st Viscountess Carteret [Great Britain] on 1 January 1714/15, suo jure, with a special remainder to her husband's brother, Edward Carteret.⁴

     George Carteret, 1st Baron Carteret of Hawnes was born in July 1667 at Hinchingbrooke House, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, England.^1,2 He was the son of Sir Philip Carteret and Lady Jemima Montagu.³ He married Grace Granville, Countess Granville, daughter of John Granville, 1st Earl of Bath and Jane Wyche, circa 15 March 1674/75.¹ He died on 22 September 1695 at age 28.¹ He was buried on 30 September 1695 at Hawnes, Bedfordshire, England^G.³ He died intestate and his estate was administered to his widow on 6 November 1695.⁴
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Carteret, of Metesches, in Jersey [E., 1645] on 13 January 1679/80.³ He was created 1st Baron Carteret of Hawnes, co. Bedford [England] on 19 October 1681, with a special remainder to his brothers.¹
