     Rt. Rev. Edward Smith was the son of James Smyth. He married, firstly, Eilzabeth Smyth, daughter of Rt. Rev. William Smyth.2 He married, secondly, Hon. Mary Skeffington, daughter of Clotworthy Skeffington, 3rd Viscount Massereene and Rachael Hungerford.3
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)4 He held the office of Bishop of Down and Connor.1 He was also known as Rt. Rev. Edward Smyth.4

     David Bertram Ogilvy Freeman-Mitford, 2nd Baron Redesdale was born on 13 March 1878.1 He was the son of Algernon Bertram Freeman-Mitford, 1st Baron Redesdale and Lady Clementina Gertrude Helen Ogilvy.2 He married Sydney Bowles, daughter of Thomas Gibson Bowles, on 6 February 1904.1 He died on 17 March 1958 at age 80.1
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Northumberland Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902, where he was dangerously wounded.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Redesdale, of Redesdale, Northumberland [U.K., 1902] on 17 August 1916.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Oxfordshire.1

     Christopher Grey Tennant, 2nd Baron Glenconner was born on 14 June 1899.1 He was the son of Edward Priaulx Tennant, 1st Baron Glenconner and Pamela Adelaide Genevieve Wyndham.1 He married, firstly, Pamela Winefred Paget, daughter of Sir Richard Arthur Surtees Paget, 2nd Bt. and Lady Muriel Evelyn Vernon Finch-Hatton, on 25 September 1925.1 He and Pamela Winefred Paget were divorced in 1935.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Powell, daughter of Lt.-Col. Evelyn George Harcourt Powell and Phyllis Olive Barbara Pryor, on 25 March 1935.1 He died on 4 October 1983 at age 84.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Tennant [U.K., 1885] on 21 November 1920.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Glenconner, of Glen, co. Peebles [U.K., 1911] on 21 November 1920.1

     William Cavendish, 1st Duke of Devonshire was born on 25 January 1640/41.1 He was the son of William Cavendish, 3rd Earl of Devonshire and Lady Elizabeth Cecil.1 He married Lady Mary Butler, daughter of James Butler, 1st Duke of Ormonde and Elizabeth Preston, Baroness Dingwall, on 26 October 1662.1 He died on 18 August 1707 at age 66.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baron Cavendish of Hardwick, co. Derby [E., 1605] on 23 November 1684.1 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Devonshire [E., 1618] on 23 November 1684.1 He was one of the seven who signed the invitiation to William of Orange to come to England,a dn was one of the first to take up arms on his behalf on his arrival.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1689.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1689.1 He held the office of Lord Steward of the Household between 1689 and 1707.1 He succeeded as the 1st Marquess of Hartington, co.      Elizabeth Preston, Baroness Dingwall was born on 25 July 1615.2 She was the daughter of Richard Preston, 1st Earl of Desmond and Lady Elizabeth Butler.2 She and George Feilding, 1st Earl of Desmond were engaged circa 1622.3 She married James Butler, 1st Duke of Ormonde, son of Thomas Butler, Viscount Thurles and Elizabeth Poyntz, in September 1629.4 She died on 21 July 1684 at age 68.2
     She succeeded as the 2nd Baroness Dingwall, of co. Ross [S., 1609] on 28 October 1628.1 Her married name became Butler. After her marriage, Elizabeth Preston, Baroness Dingwall was styled as Countess of Ormonde on 24 February 1633. After her marriage, Elizabeth Preston, Baroness Dingwall was styled as Marchioness of Ormonde on 30 August 1642. After her marriage, Elizabeth Preston, Baroness Dingwall was styled as Duchess of Ormonde on 30 March 1661.

     James Butler, 2nd Duke of Ormonde was born on 29 April 1665.1 He was the son of Thomas Butler, 6th Earl of Ossory and Lady Amelia de Nassau.1 He married, firstly, Lady Anne Hyde, daughter of Laurence Hyde, 1st Earl of Rochester and Lady Henrietta Boyle, on 20 July 1682.1 He married, secondly, Lady Mary Somerset, daughter of Henry Somerset, 1st Duke of Beaufort and Mary Capell, on 3 August 1685 at St. Michael's, Great Badminton, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.3 He died on 16 November 1745 at age 80, in exile.
     He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Ossory [I., 1528] on 30 July 1680.4 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Butler of Moore Park, co.
