     Colonel George William Adolphus FitzGeorge was born on 27 August 1843 at London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Field Marshal George William Frederick Charles Hanover, 2nd Duke of Cambridge and Sarah Louisa Fairbrother.2 He married Rosa Frederica Baring, daughter of William Henry Baring and Elizabeth Hammersley, on 25 November 1885 at Paris, FranceG.3,4 He died on 2 September 1907 at age 64 at Lucerne, SwitzerlandG.1 He was buried at Alice Brandt Memorial Cemetery, Kreutzbush bei Meggen, SwitzerlandG.5,6
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 20th Hussars.2 He fought in the Egypt Campaign.2 He became bankrupt, and is said to have received £150,000 from his father.2

     Rear-Admiral Sir Adolphus Augustus Frederick FitzGeorge was born on 30 January 1846 at London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Field Marshal George William Frederick Charles Hanover, 2nd Duke of Cambridge and Sarah Louisa Fairbrother.2 He married, firstly, Sophia Jane Holden, daughter of Thomas Holden, on 21 September 1875 at Hull, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Beatrice Daisy Watson, daughter of John Watson, on 28 October 1920 at Pimlico, London, EnglandG.3 He died on 17 December 1922 at age 76 at 20 Ecclestone Square, London, EnglandG.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in March 1859 in the Royal Navy.4 He gained the rank of Captain in 1894.4 He retired from the military in January 1893.4 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1896.4 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1904.4
