     Anne Geraldine Mary Charteris was born on 19 June 1913.² She was the daughter of Captain Hon. Guy Lawrence Charteris and Frances Lucy Tennant.^3,2 She married, firstly, Shane Edward Robert O'Neill, 3rd Baron O'Neill of Shane's Castle, son of Captain Hon. Arthur Edward Bruce O'Neill and Lady Annabel Hungerford Crewe-Milnes, on 6 October 1932.³ She married, secondly, Esmond Cecil Harmsworth, 2nd Viscount Rothermere, son of Harold Sidney Harmsworth, 1st Viscount Rothermere and Mary Lilian Share, on 28 June 1945.³ She and Esmond Cecil Harmsworth, 2nd Viscount Rothermere were divorced in 1952.³ She married, thirdly, Commander Ian Lancaster Fleming, son of Major Valentine Fleming and Evelyn Beatrice Sainte Croix Rose, on 24 March 1952 at Jamaica^G.³ She died circa July 1981.^4,5
     After her marriage, Anne Geraldine Mary Charteris was styled as Baroness O'Neill of Shane's Castle on 6 October 1932. From 6 October 1932, her married name became O'Neill. After her marriage, Anne Geraldine Mary Charteris was styled as Viscountess Rothermere on 28 June 1945. From 28 June 1945, her married name became Harmsworth. From 24 March 1952, her married name became Fleming.

     Captain Hugo Francis Guy Charteris was born on 11 December 1922.² He was the son of Captain Hon. Guy Lawrence Charteris and Frances Lucy Tennant.² He married Virginia Mary Forbes Adam, daughter of Colin Gurden Forbes Adam and Hon. Irene Constance Lawley, on 24 April 1948.² He died in 1970.²

     Colin Christopher Paget Tennant, 3rd Baron Glenconner was born on 1 December 1926.¹ He was the son of Christopher Grey Tennant, 2nd Baron Glenconner and Pamela Winefred Paget.¹ He married Lady Anne Veronica Coke, daughter of Major Thomas William Edward Coke, 5th Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Lady Elizabeth Mary Yorke, on 21 April 1956.³ He died on 27 August 2010 at age 83.⁴

     Rhoda Cartwright was the daughter of unknown Cartwright.¹ She married Lord Henry Cavendish, son of William Cavendish, 1st Duke of Devonshire and Lady Mary Butler.¹ She died on 24 January 1729/30.¹
     Her married name became Cavendish.¹

     Mary Cavendish was the daughter of Lord Henry Cavendish and Rhoda Cartwright.¹ She married General John Fane, 7th Earl of Westmorland, son of Vere Fane, 4th Earl of Westmorland and Rachel Bence.¹ She died on 29 July 1778, without issue.¹
     Her married name became Fane.¹ After her marriage, Mary Cavendish was styled as Countess of Westmorland on 4 June 1736.

     Anne Yale was the daughter of Elihu Yale.¹ She married Lord James Cavendish, son of William Cavendish, 1st Duke of Devonshire and Lady Mary Butler.¹ She died on 27 June 1734.¹

     William Cavendish, 3rd Earl of Devonshire was born on 10 October 1617.¹ He was the son of William Cavendish, 2nd Earl of Devonshire and Hon. Christian Bruce.¹ He married Lady Elizabeth Cecil, daughter of William Cecil, 2nd Earl of Salisbury and Lady Catherine Howard, circa 4 March 1638/39.¹ He died on 23 November 1684 at age 67.¹
     He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in February 1625/26.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Devonshire [E., 1618] on 20 June 1628.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Cavendish of Hardwick, co. Derby [E., 1605] on 20 June 1628.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.³
     

     Lady Elizabeth Cecil was born in 1619.² She was the daughter of William Cecil, 2nd Earl of Salisbury and Lady Catherine Howard.^1,3 She married William Cavendish, 3rd Earl of Devonshire, son of William Cavendish, 2nd Earl of Devonshire and Hon. Christian Bruce, circa 4 March 1638/39.¹ She died on 19 November 1689.¹
     From circa 4 April 1639, her married name became Cavendish. After her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Cecil was styled as Countess of Devonshire circa 4 April 1639.
