Sir John Lyon, 1st of Glamis married Lady Jean Stewart, daughter of Robert II Stewart, King of Scotland and Elizabeth Mure of Rowallan, between 27 June 1376 and 4 October 1376.1 He died on 4 November 1382, killed by Sir James Lindsay of Crawford.2
He was Ausitor of the Chamberlain in January 1368/69.2 He held the office of Keeper of the Privy Seal in 1371.2 In 1372 Glamis was granted to him by King Robert II.2 He held the office of Chamberlain of Scotland between 1377 and 1382.2 He was appointed Knight before 20 October 1377.2

Patrick Graham, Earl of Strathearn was the son of Sir Patrick Graham of Kincardine and of Dundaff and Eupheme Stewart.2 He married Eupheme Stewart, Countess of Caithness, daughter of David Stewart, 1st Earl of Caithness and unknown daughter Lindsay, before December 1406.3 He died on 10 August 1413, killed by his brother-in-law, Sir John Drummond of Concraig.2

He lived at Calder House, Mid Calder, West Lothian, ScotlandG. In 1397 Margaret, Countess of Angus, engineered his renunciation by royal confirmation of any succession to the unentailed Douglas estates in favour of George Douglas, 1st Earl of Angus of the 1389 creation.3
