Sir George Francis Fleetwood Cradock-Hartopp, 8th Bt. was born on 20 July 1870.2 He was the son of Sir John William Cradock-Hartopp, 4th Bt. and Charlotte Frances Howard.2 He married Ethel Caroline Jane Wellesley, daughter of Colonel William Henry Charles Wellesley and Jane Malet Hayden, on 28 July 1909.1 He died on 5 September 1949 at age 79, without issue.2
He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Cradock-Hartopp, of Freathby, co. Leicester [G.B., 1796] on 26 February 1937.2

Admiral Sir George Greville Wellesley was born on 2 August 1814.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. Gerald Valerian Wellesley and Lady Emily Maud Cadogan.2 He married Elizabeth Doughty Lukin, daughter of Robert Lukin, on 25 October 1853.1 He died on 6 April 1901 at age 86.1
He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Officer in 1834 in the Royal Navy.1 He held the office of Superintendant of Portsmouth Dockyard between 1865 and 1869.1 He was Commander-in-Chief of the North American Station in 1869.1 He was Commanding Officer of the Channel Squadron in 1870.1 He gained the rank of Admiral in 1875.1 He held the office of First Sea Lord of the Admiralty between 1877 and 1879.1
