     Lady Charlotte Sophia Somerset was born on 25 April 1795.1 She was the daughter of Henry Charles Somerset, 6th Duke of Beaufort and Lady Charlotte Sophia Leveson-Gower.2 She married Frederick Gough, 4th Baron Calthorpe, son of Henry Gough-Calthorpe, 1st Baron Calthorpe and Frances Carpenter, on 12 August 1823.1 She died on 12 November 1865 at age 70 at Elvetham, Hampshire, EnglandG.1
     From 12 August 1823, her married name became Gough-Calthorpe. From 14 May 1845, her married name became Gough.1 After her marriage, Lady Charlotte Sophia Somerset was styled as Baroness Calthorpe in September 1851.

     Sir Francis Salwey Winnington, 5th Bt. was born on 24 September 1849.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Edward Winnington, 4th Bt. and Anna Helena Domvile.3 He married Jane Spencer-Churchill, daughter of Lord Alfred Spencer-Churchill and Hon. Harriet Louisa Hester Gough-Calthorpe, on 5 February 1879.1 He died on 4 March 1931 at age 81.2
     He gained the rank of in the 66th Foot.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Winnington, of Stanford Court, co. Worcester [G.B., 1755] on 18 June 1872.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Worcestershire in 1894.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Worcestershire.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Worcestershire.2

Sir William James Colville and Georgiana Mary Montagu Baillie.3 He married Olivia Spencer-Churchill, daughter of Lord Alfred Spencer-Churchill and Hon. Harriet Louisa Hester Gough-Calthorpe, on 6 November 1883.1 He died on 26 February 1942 at age 84.2
     He fought in the Afghan War between 1878 and 1879.2 He fought in the Waziri Expedition in 1881.2 He fought in the North-West Frontier in 1897.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1903, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of Colonel and Honorary Brigadier-General in the Rifle Brigade.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1902.2 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1914 in the 60th Infantry Brigade.2

     Brig.-Gen. Charles Fitz-Clarence, V.C. was born on 8 May 1865 at Bishopscourt, IrelandG.2 He was the son of Captain Hon. George Fitz-Clarence and Lady Maria Henrietta Scott.3 He married Violet Spencer-Churchill, daughter of Lord Alfred Spencer-Churchill and Hon. Harriet Louisa Hester Gough-Calthorpe, on 20 April 1898.3 He died on 11 November 1914 at age 49 at Polygon Wood, BelgiumG, killed in action.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Fusiliers.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901.2 He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.) on 6 July 1900, for his actions on 14 October 1899.2 He was Brigadier-General of the Irish Guards Regimental District between 1913 and 1914.3 He fought in the First World War. He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.4
