     Ferdinand II August Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld was born on 29 October 1816 at Vienna, Austria^G. He was the son of Ferdinand Georg August Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld and Marie Antoinette Kohary of Csabrag.¹ He married, firstly, Maria da Glória de Bragança, Rainha de Portugal, daughter of Dom Pedro IV de Bragança, Rei de Portugal and Maria Leopoldine Erzherzogin von Österreich, on 9 April 1836 at Lisbon, Portugal^G. He married, secondly, Elise Frederica Hensler, Countess of Edla on 10 June 1869 at Lisbon, Portugal^G, in a morganatic marriage. He died on 15 December 1885 at age 69 at Lisbon, Portugal^G.
     He gained the title of Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld. After his marriage, Ferdinand II August Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld was styled as Rei Ferdinando II de Portugal in 1836.¹

     Maria da Glória de Bragança, Rainha de Portugal was born on 4 April 1819 at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil^G. She was the daughter of Dom Pedro IV de Bragança, Rei de Portugal and Maria Leopoldine Erzherzogin von Österreich.^3,4 She married, firstly, August Herzog von Leuchtenberg on 26 January 1835 at Lisbon, Portugal^G. She married, secondly, Ferdinand II August Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld, son of Ferdinand Georg August Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld and Marie Antoinette Kohary of Csabrag, on 9 April 1836 at Lisbon, Portugal^G. She died on 15 November 1853 at age 34 at Lisbon, Portugal^G.
     She was given the name of Maria da Glória Joana Carlota Leopoldina Isidora da Cruz Francisca Xavier de Paula Micaela Gabriela Rafaela Luisa Gonzaga at birth.⁵ She succeeded as the Rainha Maria II de Portugal in 1826.¹

     August Ludwig Viktor Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld was born on 13 June 1818 at Vienna, Austria^G.³ He was the son of Ferdinand Georg August Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld and Marie Antoinette Kohary of Csabrag.¹ He married Marie Clémentine Caroline Léopoldine Clotilde d'Orléans, Princesse de France, daughter of Louis Philippe I d'Orléans, Roi de France and Maria Amelia Teresa di Borbone, Principessa delle Due Sicilie, on 21 April 1843 at Saint-Cloud, Île-de-France, France^G.³ He died on 26 July 1881 at age 63 at Schloss Ebenthal^G.³
     He gained the title of Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld. He gained the title of Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha.⁴ He gained the title of Herzog von Sachsen.⁵

     Marie Clémentine Caroline Léopoldine Clotilde d'Orléans, Princesse de France was born on 3 June 1817 at Neuilly-sur-Seine, Paris, Île-de-France, France^G.¹ She was the daughter of Louis Philippe I d'Orléans, Roi de France and Maria Amelia Teresa di Borbone, Principessa delle Due Sicilie.³ She married August Ludwig Viktor Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld, son of Ferdinand Georg August Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld and Marie Antoinette Kohary of Csabrag, on 21 April 1843 at Saint-Cloud, Île-de-France, France^G.¹ She died on 16 February 1907 at age 89 at Vienna, Austria^G.¹
     She gained the title of Princesse Clementine d'Orléans. She gained the title of Princesse Clementine de France.⁴

     Leopold Clemens Philip Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha was born on 19 July 1878 at Szent-Antal, Hungary^G.¹ He was the son of Ferdinand Philipp Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha and Louise Marie Amélie de Belgique, Princesse de Belgique.² He died on 27 April 1916 at age 37 at Vienna, Austria^G.^2,1

     Dorothea Marie Henriette Prinzessin von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha was born on 30 April 1881 at Vienna, Austria^G.¹ She was the daughter of Ferdinand Philipp Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha and Louise Marie Amélie de Belgique, Princesse de Belgique.² She married Ernst Günther Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg, son of Friedrich Christian August Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg and Adelheid Prinzessin zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg, on 2 August 1898 at Coburg, Bayern, Germany^G.¹ She died on 21 January 1967 at age 85 at Taxis, Wurttemberg, Germany^G.¹
     She gained the title of Prinzessin von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha.²

     Ernst Günther Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg was born on 11 August 1863 at Dölzig, Germany^G.² He was the son of Friedrich Christian August Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg and Adelheid Prinzessin zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg.¹ He married Dorothea Marie Henriette Prinzessin von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha, daughter of Ferdinand Philipp Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha and Louise Marie Amélie de Belgique, Princesse de Belgique, on 2 August 1898 at Coburg, Bayern, Germany^G.² He died on 22 February 1921 at age 57 at Primkenau^G.²
     He gained the title of Herzog von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg. He gained the title of Prinz von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg.¹

     Adelheid von Hohenlohe-Weikersheim was the daughter of Kraft III von Hohenlohe-Weikersheim and Anna von Leuchtenberg.¹ She married Ludwig IV Graf von Fürstenberg.¹ She died on 22 September 1370.¹
     She was a member of the House of Hohenlohe.¹

     Leopoldina Teresa de Bragança, Infanta de Brasil was born on 13 July 1847 at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil^G.² She was the daughter of Dom Pedro II de Bragança, Emperor of Brazil and Teresa Maria Cristina di Borbone, Principessa di Borbone delle Due Sicilie.³ She married Ludwig August Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha, son of August Ludwig Viktor Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld and Marie Clémentine Caroline Léopoldine Clotilde d'Orléans, Princesse de France, on 15 December 1864 at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil^G.² She died on 7 February 1871 at age 23 at Vienna, Austria^G, from typhoid fever.⁴
     She gained the title of Infanta de Brasil. She was given the name of Leopoldina Teresa Francisca Carolina Micaela Gabriela Rafaela Gonzaga at birth.²

     Ferdinand I of Bulgaria, Tsar of Bulgaria was born on 26 February 1861 at Vienna, Austria^G.² He was the son of August Ludwig Viktor Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld and Marie Clémentine Caroline Léopoldine Clotilde d'Orléans, Princesse de France.¹ He married, firstly, Marie Louise di Borbone, Principessa di Parma, daughter of Roberto I di Borbone, Duca di Parma and Maria Pia della Grazia di Borbone, Principessa di Borbone delle Due Sicilie, on 20 April 1893 at Villa Pianore, Province di Lucca, Italy.^1,3 He married, secondly, Eleanore Caroline Gasparine Louise Prinzessin Reuss zu Köstritz, daughter of Heinrich IV Prinz Reuss zu Köstritz and Luise Caroline Prinzessin Reuss zu Greiz, on 28 February 1908 at Coburg, Bayern, Germany^G, in a Roman Catholic marriage.³ Ferdinand I and Eleanore Caroline Gasparine Louise were also married in a religious ceremony Protestant on 1 March 1908 at Schloss Osterstein, Gera, Austria^G.⁴ He died on 10 September 1948 at age 87 at Coburg, Bayern, Germany^G.²
     He was given the name of Ferdinand Maximilian Karl Leopold Maria at birth.⁵ He gained the title of Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha.¹ He gained the title of Herzog von Sachsen.⁵ He was created Prince Ferdinand of Bulgaria on 7 July 1887.² He was created Tsar Ferdinand I of Bulgaria on 5 October 1908.² He abdicated as Tsar of Bulgaria on 3 October 1918.²
