Other Information | City Trafik A/S entered the market as from 1 April 1990 as an operator of Hovedstadsområdets Trafikselskab (HT). City Trafik A/S had been established in 1989 by 13 private bus operators of the HT, which faced new market conditions due to the future procurement procedures, which brought alle existing long-term standard contracts to an end. City Trafik A/S in the First Procurement of the HT and won contracts by 1 April 1990 for the operation of the rush hour courses on route 9 and half of the courses on route 30 and 33. From 1991 City Trafik A/S took over the operation of route 34. City Trafik A/S took over A. P. Hansen in Roskilde as from 1 April 1990. Hansen had also been succesful in winning new operators contracts with the HT. From the start, City Trafik A/S rented depot facilities with the HT at the Artillerivej depot. In 1992 City Trafik A/S transferred its depot to a new depot facility at Islands Brygge in central Copenhagen. |
