Chavdar buses B13-20 are city buses with 3 revolving doors. They are typical for 80-year design. In the salon was established effective ventilation system. Workplace driver features an improved ergonomic performance, allowing him to work freely and be able to better monitor the road. The engine is located in the middle of the bus in the gym. Engine is a type - Raba-man 2156HM6V. Gearbox is 4 or 5 speeds - automatic. Maximum speed - 120km/h. Buses, "Chavdar" B13-20 was originally manufactured specifically for the city of Athens (Greece), but subsequently began to circulate in Bulgaria and the Soviet Union. For Athens produced about 200 pieces - Chavdar B13-20 in 1983 - they are all removed from service in 1994. I have to add here that Tsokos has his small body-building factory outside Athens, at Livadia. The other 2 photos are at Patra, where one Greek-bodied Balkancar (as we called them here) was sold, after they were retired from Athens. I think it has been scrapped by now, as it was retired a few years ago.
Този Чавдар изглежда толкова запазен, направо перфектен! Жалко, че Бистрица са бракували толкова запазени автобуси. Трябвало е ПП да ги вземат и да бракуват техните Икаруси и Чавдари, които са в по-лошо състояние.
