26 september 2008 - Bucuresti, Romania – zajezdnia Militari. A purpose-built snow blower. The blades in front revolve and cut up the snow, which then pours out of the chute and clear of the tracks. I bet these are very impressive in operation!

29 september 2008 - Bucuresti, Romania – URAC. Bucuresti has serious snowfalls in winter and RATB is well equipped to cope - each depot has a number of purpose-built tramway snow sweepers, ploughs and blowers. URAC obviously has a programme to overhaul these during the summer months – sweeper 07 has just emerged in sparkling, ex-works condition and is waiting to go back to its home depot.
