River Yei is a river in South Sudan with its source in Panyana Village, Lujule West payam in the Morobo County of Central Equatoria State. [1]The name Yei was derived from the word yii in Keliko Language meaning Water.[2]

Yei town is on the bangs of River Yei and where River Kembe joins along Yei Juba Road.[3][4]
