Phenomenon on phototrans - this vehicle has more photos from Denmark than Poland!
Yes, this is history. I was actually chaing this vehicle in early 1987, as it was brand new with Hvidovre Rutebiler. They changed their rolling stock on an ongiong basis. According to their contract with te HT, the vehicles could have a maximum age of 12 years.
Yo may note on the front left that it indicates "Ascan", which was for a short time the name of Aabenraa Karosserifabrik. The vehicle had been in operation less than a month at this time.
So nice... I (we!) really enjoy your photos from DK, especially with vehicles sold to Poland in 90`s decade. Thank you.
Yes. I is lovely to go though it all. When I took them, I had, of course, no idea...
Who could predict in those years that withdrawn vehicles will be sold to the east and stay in service for long, long time; much longer than 12 years of contracts in their origin country
