Other Site Characteristics

A large bay. The inner part is shallow. The site includes some small islets (without actual protection) and some small reefs (1170, <1%).

4.2 Quality and importance

Pukaviksbukten is an extremely important site for Salmo salar. The breeding result for the salmon in river Mörrumsån (site SE 0410128) depends in a high degree on the situation for the fish population in the bay.
