A wiki is a collaborative web site. Anybody can contribute. Every page has a link at the bottom that allows you to edit it. A good place to start is
RecentVisitors. Add your name to the list.
Here is where to find more information:
- TextFormattingRules describes how the wiki text is transformed into HTML. Here is the executive summary: Empty lines separate paragraphs. Paragraphs may span several lines. Asterisks (`*') introduce list items. One list item per line. Plain URLs get hyperlinked. Words in CamelCase (mixed case) are transformed into local links. (Click on the edit link at the bottom of this page to see an example!) Use the SandBox page to test it!
- StyleGuide has some discussion on how to write for the curious. As long as common sense prevails, nothing else is needed. Try to avoid ShallowPages: There is no need to create pages just to define terms.
- WhyWikiWorks explains why wikis (hopefully) generate interesting content and why there is not much abuse.
